After a year of playing the tennis racquet in front of the mirror, Niall's mum sent him for a few guitar lessons.

Soon after he formed his first band at the age of 15 and began to learn how to write songs. He bought a Yamaha 4 track tape recorder after being disappointed with paid for studio recordings and began his first recordings and productions in bedrooms and bathrooms. This school yard band played together for 7 years and released one twelve inch single under the name, 'Splash with Sonya'.

After this band split, Niall discovered Techno and bought an Atari computer, an Akai sampler and a Kawai synth. During the next decade Niall learned how to compose and produce digitally and bought a 'whole lot more kit'.

After gaining BA (Hons) in music production in 2003, Niall spent time as a studio engineer recording bands before becoming a lecturer in music production at Northbrook Met College.

Niall currently uses Logic X with a bunch of extra plug ins and analogue synths to explore a variety of musical styles including; electronic pop, techno, grime, acid breakbeat, dancehall, dubstep, reggae and reggaeton, often with a punky vibe and using live recordings mixing together the analogue and the digital worlds.
